AI assisting in insulin dosing for type 2 diabetes

On December 1, 2023, JAMA Network Open published an interesting article about a study on a Voice Artificial Intelligence (Voice AI) that helps to improve a number of aspects in diabetic care, including: titration of basal insulin, increased time to optimal insulin dose, better adherence, and glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes. The author of the article is Ashwin Nayak, MD, MS, of the Department of Hospital Medicine, Stanford University, California.
