Aston Health has implemented various projects in HIV, Hepatitis, TB, and nosocomial infections.
Currently, Aston Health is supporting a large project titled National Registry of HIV-Infected Pregnant Women and Children supervised by the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital under MoH.
The Registry accumulates data fertility rates in HIV-infected women, socio-demographics of HIV-infected mothers and their children and treatment details.
Also, Aston Health ran a research project for assessment of CVD risk factors in HIV-infected patients, which involves specialists from various therapeutic disciplines and a number of diagnostic laboratories.
The project resulted in educational workshops for healthcare practitioners and developing of specific guidelines for assessing CVD risk factors in HIV-infected patients.
